wow, a lot of time has passed since my last entry. i suppose this one will be a comprehensive overview of what's going on with me, although most of you probably already know

just got back from a weekend at home, got my laptop back from compaq, so life's good...for the most part. i could have done without my traffic accident yesterday (got rear-ended by an idiotic teenage girl who didn't brake when i and all the cars in front of me braked), so i'll be spending lots of my time on the phone dealing with insurance companies. it really pisses me off that no matter how carefully i drive, some incompetent nincompoop can come along and bash my car in anyways. it's scary how you're never completely in control of the situation if other jackasses are around...applies to life in general too, methinks. anyways, we both had insurance, but still have to take a chunk out of my time to deal with accident complications. plus i'm not really sure what i'm going to do when my car's in the shop

anyways, enough bitterness for now. just sucks that i had such an awesome weekend at home (full of delicious chinese food, monstars, bbq, movie-hopping, and relaxing), only to be abruptly ended by a collision. drive carefully ppl!!
....moving on....summer schedule[now through 8/24] ~ work
8/25-8/26 ~ temporarily home in LCR
8/27 ~ school starts, yet again, for what may be my last semester at Cal
currently working at Apple headquarters in Cupertino (unfortunately i do not get a free 8gig iphone because i'm only a temporary employee

) and may be slowly brainwashed into preferring Mac's. jk...or am i? i do get a lovely discount tho, so i should probably take advantage of that ;] work is good, the atmosphere is super chill yet innovative, and i'm gymming regularly. i'm living with family friends, which was super isolated when i didn't have my laptop, but i've figured out a routine. i go to work, work out (sometimes), grab dinner, read, and go to sleep. i've also got weekly dinners with neufeld, and usually go to berkeley on the weekends. and sometimes i go shopping or grab dinner with friends also in the area...gotta cut down on that shopping part now. cupertino ain't all that exciting, but there are plenty of good places to eat, so i'm happy. working 40 hrs/week is overall kind of dull, you just don't get much free fun time bc gotta sleep early

yeah yeah, i'm becoming a fuddy duddy. i'm kinda looking forward to school starting so i can be back in the whole berkeley student atmosphere, heh.
if you come to cupertino, come visit me! or come visit me anyways
